JK is a Registered Architect in both New York and New Jersey for 35+ years. JK's expertise in passive and active energy and building energy efficiency solutions is one of the pillars of Susterra's sustainable building practice. Working in Seoul since 2010, One of JK's projects recently completed in Korea, was energy efficiency consulting to JW Marriott's new hotel construction to achieve over 30% energy efficiency over the original design. Of course, this entailed intensive computer simulated energy modeling. But the unique result was that we achieved these significant savings without increasing the construction costs! Not many people know how to do that!
